Revived Threads began with a simple idea: Why buy something new when you can give something old a whole new life?
Founded by Charley while she was still in high school through the 4-H Young Entrepreneur program, Revived Threads started small, fueled by her love of thrifting, creativity, and turning gently worn clothing into something uniquely her own.
As Founder & Upcycling Curator, Charley discovered that a little imagination could transform secondhand finds into one-of-a-kind pieces with personality and purpose.
What began as a high school entrepreneurship project soon became something worth keeping alive.
From High School Dreams to College Adventures
These days, Charley is trading high school hallways for college classrooms, but her entrepreneurial spirit hasn't gone anywhere!
With college life keeping her busy, Mom has stepped in as her behind-the-scenes assistant, helping keep Revived Threads going while Charley focuses on this exciting new chapter.
It's become a little mother-daughter teamwork — one young entrepreneur with a creative vision and one mom who believes in helping that vision grow.
Charley remains the heart and founder of Revived Threads, while Mom helps with the day-to-day details, creative projects, and all those little things that keep a small business moving forward.
Because sometimes the best way to support a dream is to help carry it while its dreamer takes on the world.
Introducing Revived Reads — A New Chapter
If there's one thing you should know about Charley, it's that she's an unapologetic bookworm!
Whether she's getting lost in a fictional world, discovering her next favorite author, or adding yet another book to her never-ending TBR (To Be Read) pile, reading has always been one of her greatest loves.
So when Mom started thinking about ways to keep Revived Threads growing while Charley was away at college, adding books just seemed like the perfect next chapter!
Mom enjoys a good book herself — when she can find the time between everyday life, crafting, and keeping things running behind the scenes.
Inspired by Charley's love of reading and their shared passion for giving things a second life, Mom created Revived Reads, a bookish extension of Revived Threads.
After all, a great story deserves to be read more than once, and a pre-loved book deserves another reader to fall in love with it.
From our Blind Date With a Book experiences for adults to Mystery Book Adventures for younger readers, Revived Reads makes discovering your next favorite story a little more exciting.
We also incorporate handmade bookish accessories, reclaimed fabrics, and thoughtful extras that make each package feel special.
What started as a way to help keep Charley's entrepreneurial dream alive has become a creative adventure of its own.
